God Has a Plan for you
Yes, there is a purpose to life. And yes, there is a plan for your life.
What Is It All About?
We often wonder what our path in life is and why we are here. Everyone has these questions, mostly because God has implanted in us a desire for absolute fulfillment. The Bible is clear how we can know our purpose for sure:
Step One - Realize who you are a sinner.
We are all born sinners. We all fail to be perfect and “miss the mark” when it comes to God’s perfection. The Bible puts it this way: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
Step Two - Realize you are headed for eternal judgment.
Our birth as sinners and our sin earns us judgment in eternity. When we die, we will be punished in Hell forever, paying the consequence for our sin. The Bible puts it this way: “For the wages of sin is death…” Romans 6:23
Step Three - Understand that there is redemption through Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ was God in the form of man, He died on the cross and shed His blood, but then He came back from the dead to give us victory over our punishment. The Bible puts it this way: “but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
Step Four - Admit, Believe, and Confess
Now that you know the facts, all you must do is admit that you are a sinner, believe in Christ’s death and resurrection, and confess your sin to Him and ask Him to forgive you. The Bible puts it this way: “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:10
If you will bow your head and pray to ask Christ to forgive you – AND HE WILL. Christ loves you enough to die for you. If you trust in Him, He will give you an eternal home in Heaven instead of Hell! You can spend eternity with Him! Trust Him today!
In a world of absolute uncertainty, we can be absolutely certain. Are you certain today?
